From this article, the most important line is:
"Curation sets you up as an expert in your field."
You become the "go-to" expert on fresh content that is useful, meaningful, and valuble to your prospects, followers, fans, and connections.
They come to expect great content mixed with your "insights" on how it's relevant to them. They expect it at regular intervals like clockwork. You become their trusted source of information or "tour guide" as the author of this article suggests to filtered content on the Internet.
You frame the discussion for issues that you can help them solve - you get to dictate what subject is discussed, dissected, debated, and understood.
Curating content for your unique niche allows you to be the "expert" voice and stand above all the other clutter coming out of your competitors.
Are you prepared to become an expert in your niche?
