I've just thought of asking every student to reorder the verbs in this chart (one page only -otherwise they might get lost), according to what they think is their own personal frequency of use. Then, they should create a sentence for the 5 most/least used ones : first they'd choose a topic, so that they might relate the 10 sentences with each other to create a (very) short story. Hmm... hope I'm being plain enough. Shall possibly refine the exercise instructions later on.
