LinkedIn just updated their site to allow you to tag Linkedin posts and replies with contact names. But tagging doesn’t work in the same way that it works Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus – it’s more intuitive.

I tried it and it works - send a LinkedIn invitation link that takes people straight to your invitation page. Mine's
